Question: Which would be a better gift? the new xbox slim or aps3?

My boyfriend has an older model of the xbox, but his bday is coming up and i have 350$ to spend and I want to know which is the better buy.

If his current 360 is working fine, I wouldnt bother getting the new 360 for him, like the guy above me said why not have best of both worlds, he can then be able to play exclusive games from the PS3, and not to mention it has a built in Blu Ray player so you both can watch movies together in Blu Ray. I own both consoles, and now when a exclusive game comes out I dont have to worry that I wont be able to play it cause I have both consoles.

If you are old enough to have 350 to spend on your boyfriend, then i would go with the 360, it has older age games than the PS3, but since he already has an xbox, you could go with the ps3

Well ask him this Do you like xbox live? if he says no or not that much buy him a ps3 if he says yes then buy him a xbox - ready kinect ;)

Let him have the best of both worlds! Too be frank most fanboys don't have BOTH consoles - it would be far to expensive. Giving him a PS3 would open up more options in the gaming world and prevent any dispute when it comes to the old and tiring argument of whether microsoft or sony are better. However he may then spend twice as much time gaming and less time with you so be careful! :)
